Factory direct OEM Commercial Grade 304 Stainless Steel Vaporizer heat shield tray installs in Solaire gas grill above the U shaped blue flame Convection Burner. The Solaire 27XL uses this vaporizer shield to distribute the lanced burner heat & to keep the ports clean.

The vaporizer heat shield is designed to protect the burner from falling grease, to diffuse & distribute rising heat and prevent hot spots from forming as well. Falling grease also lands on the hot shield and vaporizes to add flavor circulating in the barbecue area, creating more intense, flavorful tasting food.
